Terms of Service

lunote provides a suite of AI-powered services designed to support learning and content processing, including an AI learning assistant, content analysis, generation, conversion, and other related features we may offer from time to time. Available features, usage limits, and scope are shown on the relevant service pages.

The Services may include free and paid plans and are intended for personal, non-commercial, or other reasonable use.

Some features may be offered in beta or on a trial basis. Their availability, duration, usage limits, and associated plans may change or be discontinued.

lunote uses a credit-based feature access system. Different features may consume different amounts of credits, as shown on the relevant pages. We may adjust the issuance, use, validity, or redemption rules for credits as the Services evolve, and updated rules will apply to all users. Unless applicable law requires otherwise, credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash.

You represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you must be at least 16. Your account information must be accurate, and you are responsible for keeping your account and login credentials secure.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us promptly if you discover unauthorized access or use.

You retain ownership of the data and content you provide to lunote. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you may use AI output generated from your content for lawful purposes, and you are responsible for ensuring that the content and output do not infringe third-party rights.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to operate, maintain, and improve the Services. Where permitted by law, we may use anonymized, de-identified, or aggregated data derived from service usage and user content to develop, train, evaluate, and improve algorithms, AI models, product features, and the Services as a whole.

Third-party service providers that access relevant data to provide the Services are bound by contractual and confidentiality obligations. They may process data only under our instructions and may not use your content for their own purposes or to train their models independently. You may not use the Services for unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct, to bypass security restrictions, or to harm us, other users, or third parties.

At your request, the Services may process content that you provide or identify. You must have the legal right to process that content and must comply with the terms, intellectual-property rules, and applicable laws governing any relevant third-party platform.

You are responsible for the consequences of processing, obtaining, or generating content through the Services. If your unlawful, infringing, or improper use causes loss to lunote or a third party, you are responsible as required by law.

lunote and its operator own the rights related to the Services, including the name, logo, design, code, and interface. Your user content and any output that belongs to you under applicable law remain yours.

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content in the Services infringes your lawful rights, send the necessary information to oakfun@lunote.ai. We will review the notice and respond in accordance with applicable law.

lunote may offer free trials and recurring subscription plans. Trial eligibility, duration, and availability are shown on the relevant pages. If a trial converts to a paid subscription, we will disclose this on the subscription page.

Unless you cancel through your account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date, your subscription will renew automatically. Subscription prices, billing cycles, and benefits are shown on the purchase page. Refunds are handled under applicable law and the refund policy then in effect.

Artificial intelligence may produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent with source material. We do not guarantee that AI output is accurate, reliable, or suitable for a particular purpose.

lunote is a productivity tool for learning and content processing, not an authoritative information source. Verify important information before using or relying on it. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the output.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without express or implied warranties.

The Services may be interrupted, changed, or unavailable because of maintenance, network conditions, changes to third-party platforms, force majeure events, or other causes. We will take commercially reasonable measures to maintain the Services, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, lunote is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Services.

Our total liability for all claims related to the Services will not exceed the amount you actually paid to lunote during the 12 months before the claim arose, except for liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

Where reasonably necessary, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate all or part of the Services or related accounts to protect service security, safeguard users and third parties, address violations, or comply with legal obligations.

We may modify these Terms and will use reasonable methods to notify you of material changes. Unless otherwise stated, updated Terms take effect when published. By continuing to use the Services after an update, you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without affecting statutory rights granted to you by mandatory consumer-protection laws in your place of residence.

Disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the applicable rules. To the extent permitted by law, you waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitration.
